About ABA Exam Prep

ABA Exam Prep was created to help ARE candidates understand how exam questions are structured and how to approach them with confidence.

Many candidates discover that the most difficult part of the ARE is not simply knowing the information — it’s understanding how the questions are written and how to evaluate multiple answers that all seem correct. ABA Exam Prep focuses on helping candidates break down these questions logically and identify the best answer based on the information provided.

Each question is designed to reflect the type of reasoning and decision-making required on the exam, with explanations that walk through the thought process behind the correct response.

Programming & Analysis (PA)

The platform currently focuses on Programming & Analysis (PA) practice questions. PA is often the first technical division candidates take and introduces many of the core concepts that appear throughout the ARE, including site analysis, environmental considerations, programming, and regulatory constraints.

The current question bank includes:
  • NCARB-style practice questions
  • Detailed explanations for each answer
  • Concepts frequently tested on the PA division

Future Divisions

Additional question banks for other ARE divisions are currently in development.
